According to TVLine, in “Basic Lupine Urology” which air date is yet to be announced, the Greendale gang will channel their inner Lennie Briscoes when the yam they are attempting to sprout for an experiment is demolished.
Believing that someone sabotages their science experiment, they embark on an crime investigation where Annie Edison channels her inner Jack McCoy and prosecutes the perpetrator “to the fullest extent of Greendale’s Code of Conduct.” Meanwhile, Professor Marshall Kane will act as the judge.
In addition to the crime-themed storyline, the said episode will reportedly include a reference to “Law & Order” by featuring the canceled legal drama series’ signature “dun-dun” sound effect.

“Law & Order: Los Angeles“, sans Skeet Ulrich, will re-launch on Monday, April 11 after taking four months hiatus. The new show previously was set for February 8 return but the role shuffling has forced the production to be delayed and the Tuesdays slot to be given up to “Parenthood” which apparently won’t return to Mondays.
“We are pleased to welcome ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ back to NBC’s regular lineup,” said Bob Greenblatt, NBC entertainment chairman. “Dick Wolf and his team have made some exciting creative changes and we can’t wait to re-introduce the show to audiences.”
In the first week return, “LOLA” will air at 9 P.M. and then move to 10 P.M. the week after. Alfred Molina’s Ricardo Morales is now a detective, Terrence Howard’s DA Jonah Dekker now works full time, and Alana de la Garza will reprise her role as ADA Connie Rubirosa from the original “Law & Order“.

Following the exit of Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone, “Law & Order: Los Angeles” is going to welcome Alana De La Garza. The depicter of Connie Rubirosa in “Law & Order” is set to reprise her Assistant District Attorney role in the spin-off.
“I hope fans of the ‘Mothership’ will be happy to see the return of Alana’s character, Connie Rubirosa, one of the longest-running assistant prosecutors on Law & Order,” creator Dick Wolf told TV Guide. “Alana has a huge following and it will be interesting to follow her character as she comes to terms with Los Angeles justice.”
“LOLA” itself is currently put on another hiatus. After being absent for two months, the TV series is not going to return on February 8 as scheduled. Instead, the network will set a new date. On top of that, it also made a role-shuffle in addition to letting go some of regulars. NBC is doing some adjustments in its midseason schedule that cause another delay to “Law & Order: Los Angeles“. The spin-off to “Law & Order“, which has already been on a two-month hiatus, is not going to return on February 8 as scheduled. Instead, the network will set a new date and announce it later.
In that case, “Parenthood” will leave its Mondays 10/9c slot and take over “LOLA” ‘s Tuesdays 10/9c slot. “Parenthood” ‘s original time is going to continue containing new series “Harry’s Law” which is doing good at the time period.
There is no reason stated why “LOLA” is pushed back but NBC emphasized that they are pleased with the show’s ratings. The creative team recently made a role-shuffle, letting go Skeet Ulrich and changing Alfred Molina’s role from deputy district attorney to police detective. Terrence Howard will then be able to appear every week as the deputy district attorney.
In its midseason schedule announcement, the Peacock also said new competition series “America’s Next Great Restaurant” will premiere March 6 instead of March 16. Meanwhile, “The Marriage Ref”, which was scheduled to return for its second season on March 6, will come back to the schedule at a later date.
Skeet Ulrich is the latest name in the cast changes of “Law & Order: Los Angeles“. Following Regina Hall and Megan Boone’s departure, the actor who plays Detective Rex Winters will be leaving the show as part of creative process. Ulrich was the first confirmed actor in the “Law & Order” spin-off when the project was announced mid-2010.
“Law & Order” chief Dick Wolf has two reasons to take Ulrich out of the picture and they are Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard. “We have the fortune of two world-class actors …and it was frustrating to have one on the bench each week,” Wolf said in a statement. “It would be like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as your quarterbacks, playing alternate games.”
In order to do that, they would alter the story a bit and make Molina’s deputy district attorney Ricardo Morales a detective. According to some reports, there will be a back story of Morales as a former policeman who moved on to the district attorney’s office. Some unhappy events will lead him back to police work. Molina will now be Corey Stoll’s partner.
Meanwhile Howard, who traded episodes with Molina as deputy district attorney Jonah Dekker, will now appear in every episode. The show is now filming its 12th episode and Ulrich will depart after episode 14.
